Dominion keen on Virginia’s wind power riches

Dominion Virginia Power, a subsidiary of Virginia’s largest utility, expressed interest in the entire 113,000 acres of Virginian coast that the United States government has made available for renewable energy development. The solicitation was issued on February 2, when the Bureau of Ocean Management issued a Call for Information and Nominations to identify industry interest in locations within Virginia for commercial wind energy leases.
