The award amount may be up to $1 million.
The Hydrogen Prize or “H-Prize,” administered by the Hydrogen Education Foundation, was established by the Energy Independence and Security Act of 2007.
The H-Prize authorizes the Secretary of Energy to create a program to competitively award cash prizes to advance the commercial application of hydrogen energy technologies by dramatizing and incentivizing accelerated research.
