South Africa looked globally for companies to develop in its renewable initiative to build 4GW of renewable energy. SunEdison recently closed financing on two of those projects which allows them to start construction. The company will start on the 30 megawatt AC Witkop Solar Park and 28 megawatt AC Soutpan Solar Park. When completed they will be the first utility scale solar projects to in Limpopo Province.
